Our hotel has 90 rooms, divided between the main hotel and the villa.


Each room has the following basic equipment: smart TV, safe, minibar, desk, illuminated make-up and shaving mirror, hairdryer, seating, shower/bathtub, closet, luggage rack, shower products, sauna bag with bathrobe and sauna towel and a towel warmer.

Towering above Zwiesel, our 4-star superior hotel in the Bavarian Forest welcomes you with unique elegance.

It is divided into the main building with charming sitting areas, a roof terrace and large, cosy rooms, and the magnificent Baroque villa with 13 individually furnished rooms and junior suites, as well as a conference and event area.

The day begins at the Robenstein Aktivhotel & SPA with an extensive breakfast buffet served daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in our restaurant. In the evening, we offer a 4-course menu (partly available as a buffet or as a complete buffet). Classic ingredients of German cuisine meet modern influences and take on a new, unexpected flavour. Enjoy wonderful wines or a regional beer and let our service team pamper you.

The Robenstein Aktivhotel & SPA has three different wellness areas with a large heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna village in the hotel’s own forest, various saunas, relaxation rooms and beauty and treatment rooms. The Sauna Village – Unique in the Bavarian Forest
Via the roof terrace with a beautiful view (access weather permitting) you can reach our hotel’s own forest via a small bridge. Chirping birds, delicate rays of sunlight peeking through the leafy canopy and a breath of wind. The forest surrounds our guests with its wonderful smell and gives a view of the mountain landscape of Bavaria. Our unique sauna village welcomes you with all senses and makes your stay special. Different saunas and lounging areas, seclusion and the “window to peace” await you (Due to ice, snow or heavy rainfall it is possible that the visit of the sauna village is limited).

There are many opportunities to be active in the Bavarian Forest. The Robenstein Aktivhotel & SPA offers its guests the opportunity to play tennis free of charge at a nearby tennis club and has a partnership with the Oberzwieselau golf course (seasonal).

There are also many other sporting activities available in both summer and winter.

- 20-39 full-paying guests: 1 free place in a single room
- 40-59 full-paying guests: 2 free places in a single room
- For every additional 20 full-paying guests: 1 free place in a twin room

Therefore, be our guest (within the scope of the free place policy) and look forward not only to the hotel services your group receives, but also to

- one packed lunch per day
- the driver has the option of disposing of rubbish on site
